Disaster Positions
During times of disaster, Red Cross volunteers are deployed in a number of different functions to help serve and assist those affected by an emergency. *Please read the descriptions of the functional areas to which volunteers are deployed and click the link to read specific position descriptions.
Individual Client Services
Provides for clients using a casework process which may include finacial assistance, counseling, health related, and reunification services.
Information Management Support Services
Provides activities and services on a congregate basis to the community as a whole such as sheltering, feeding, and bulk distribution.
Material Support Services
Support activities and services necessary to conduct a disaster relief operation, including sercuring facilities, supplies and equipment.
Mass Care
Provides activities and services to the community such as sheltering, feeding, and bulk distribution.
Organizational Support
Elements of the Red Cross response that have a role in supporting the disaster operation.
Partner Services
Coordination of the services, and neccessary liason activities with government and private services.
Staff Services
Activities necessary to ensure Red Cross staff and volunteers meets the needs fo the community.
