    EVENT SERVICES:

As you can see, FAST has an extensive history in providing medical services at special events. By utilizing volunteers, we can provide medical services at very competitive rates as a service to our communities. Discounts are available for non-profits and charity events. FAST regularly works with many regional ambulance services providers and can coordinate all medical services you will require. We have many years of experience in special event medicine and can develop a medical plan that suits your event. For a consultation or more information, contact our Program Director, Kristopher Thompson, at 734-260-7748 or thompsonkris@usa.redcross.org

    VOLUNTEER:

If you are interested in volunteering for FAST, please contact Stephanie Boles, our Director of Volunteer Resources, at 734-971-5300 or boless@usa.redcross.org to schedule a New Volunteer Orientation. Volunteers are provided with extensive training, including CPR, First Aid, and many of the other skills above. Current healthcare professionals (MD/DO, PA-C, RN, LPN, EMT, MFR, etc.) are encouraged to apply, but no medical background is required. Both classroom and on-the-job training will be provided to all new volunteers.

    PUBLIC SAFETY AGENCIES:

FAST maintains a supply of basic medical supplies and an on-call team of first responders and healthcare providers that are available for response to MASS CASUALTY INCIDENTS (MCIs) and other emergency situations as requested by any emergency management or public safety agency. We also maintain a team of WILDERNESS SEARCH AND RESCUE staff and resources, including members with extensive training in WSAR management and planning. Please contact the team's on-duty supervisor for emergency dispatch of these resources at 734-961-1015. If you need assistance with canteen services or with assistance for a family affected by a disaster, call our main line at 734-971-5300 or 888-971-5300.
